​1944 photo shopped picture showing  Kuznetzov wearing "Four Star" boards as Admiral of the Fleet. Shoulder boards were introduced in 1943. It wasn't uncommon for Naval boards to be added onto the M-1940 uniforms. There are earlier copy of this same picture below where
Kuznetzov is in the same uniform without shoulder boards. The hanging medals, also introduced in 1943 have replaced the screw on orders shown in earlier photographs.
